Cobra Commander (G.I. Joe movie) first look

He's probably based on the white armor version of Cobra Commander.

Ugh. What have they done to the almighty Cobra Commander? :disappoin

But this is just the toy, I hope he doesn't disappoint in the movie... so I'll give it a chance before I judge.

Hmmm... my first impression is it looks a little ugly. Too many tubes.

Wow the bad design decisions just keep coming out of this thing. What IS up with this movie? I think the Baroness and Snake Eyes are the only ones I've seen that look even remotely right. All the Joes are in black (which makes it look like the Baroness should be rollin with them), Destro is just Doctor 9 in a suit and tie, and now Cobra Commander is a villain from some other sci-fi thing entirely. This would be a great design for a villain, if that villain wasn't supposed to be Cobra Commander.

Yeah, good job as usual Hollywood. Capitialize on nostalgia for something by making it totally unrecognizable.

Think I'll go make a ThunderCats movie only have Mumm Ra be a dude rockin a faux hawk and some Chuck Taylors. But he'll be wearing red and pale green so you know it's him.

... If he said "censor television" I'd **** myself, not giggle like I did with the real Cobra Commander
