There again, after they learned of Volt's existence, all THEIR research changed from "space-related" to "exhaustive preparation to battle super-villains". I don't even think they were going into space to begin with, and they intended to stay on Earth to protect it.

Only the suits were made to be used for the space travel project; Prof. Hoshi developed the mecha, Koron, and the Gran Tortoise after he was convinced Tsukigata and the others were bringing a threat to the Earth, at the same time Yuusuke, Jou and Megumi were modifying Takuji and Mari's suits. And although Takuji and Mari were designing the Sai Fire and Bison Liner at the same time they were working on the suits, I don't think anybody else knew about it -- Hoshi probably didn't know until after their death.

Really? But I recall a line from Yuusuke to the effect of, "After all, I invented the Jet Falcon!" I don't know if GUIS mistranslated it or not. This was like, episode four.

I think what Shougo is saying that Prof. Hoshi invented the mecha as he did with Colon and the Gran Tortoise.

All I am saying is that Liveman rocks. Still watching it, decided to go old sentai and ****, and it in my oppinion is one of the best sentai ever. (Granit, only have seen some episodes of ZyuRanger, Megaranger, Magiranger, Abaranger, and only finished, Geki-Shinkenger) but still, i know it has to be up there.

Oh man, poor Colon! (SPOILER ALERT)

I honestly thought she was going to kick her mechanical bucket in the episode before it.

Kind of cool to see the new Liveman though.

Yeah, I definitely like older Sentai over newer Sentai. I'm kinda backward with Rider, but I haven't seen a lot of older Rider.
