Cho Sei Shin Series

Haha...trust Bolt to count the sequences. I didn't bother counting; I think I was overwowed by the whole build up. But yeah, that showdown btwn Logia and Tenma - frigging classic. As well, as many others. I really have to hand it to them. It's not every fight that's huge, cosmic and earth-shattering, BUT, every bit of sequence for almost every ep has some element of that wickedly fast, fluid, execution. Seriously, I was blown by some of the **** they pull and at that speed. Even the fights between the grunts *let alone the other Sazers* is just as fast-paced and fluid. You can tell lotta love and effort went into constructing them.

So yes Sage, they are all like that. For the most part in GS, and I agree, in JR they become epitomized (is that a word?) I think by then, Toho grows used to doing the thing and work out the kinks; hence, JR seems to execute everything better, but GS will always be number 1 for me. I can't shake the shivers I got in Ep 10. I remember going "Holy Shiet, THIS is a kid's show?!?"

GS had a faster buildup in the beginning than JR. I lost interest in JR after the third ep, but came back to it in ep 15 or so. From there, it barrels down to the finish at a very nice pace. GS slows down for a bit in the 30's arc wise, but we get to see character development. I'm still annoyed they didn't bring ONE character arc to fruition, but I can dream...:P:redface2:

Haha, what can I say? When you do that kind of stuff it's hard not to start doing things like that. I'm an action connoisseur!

Waah...yeah, and I'm jealous. I haven't been involved in any of that stuff at any level since college. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any group that interests me on campus here. Poop. I miss it. Oh well. When and if I get back to it...I'll have lots to pull from all my toku-cation. I'm partly joking.

So is there something really cool in episode 10?

Your definition of "cool" might not be the same as mine. It's a cool ep IMO. More like touching. It's a bit cool in the action dept. The "cool" picks up in 11. Ep.11 has one of the COOLEST sequences in the series (for me at least). Have I confused you yet? :anime:

Not at all. Ep. 10 is cool in terms of plot, 11 is cool in terms of...what, fight scenes?

Damn. You guys are really going to make me watch JR and skip GS, since I keep hearing about how awesome it is. I should have (and will from now on) skip any 00s.

The "00" eps, as Kyusaku mentioned, comes from children's magazines. They typically contain some minor spoilers about the series along with other information not normally discussed in the series itself. Example, the Justirisers Complete Secrets Preview was mainly about the mecha and if I recall correctly, at that time Kageri's mecha was still not shown on the series. Let me grab the DVD it came off of... it came off the November magazine (which was released sometime in October) and Kageri's mecha didn't show up until the end of December (around ep 13).

This guy sounds bad-ass. When does he show up?

Make sure you pay attention to the other characters when Logia shows up. He has a tendency to uh...steal and monopolize your attention. He shows up first about ep 18? The 20's are his intro, but he'll be around. I had to re-watch his eps with a conscience mind to pay attn to sans Logia.
