Any Story Arcs I can look forward to in this series?.

...there really aren't any notable story arcs, unless I'm just glossing over it. It's basically all about the Hoshikawas missing their parents, teaching their former pupils lessons -- what little development occurs (with the villains, for example) is pretty much only in the final episodes (if I remember correctly).

I don't want to make the show sound bad or anything, I still enjoy it and I like it for it being the last sentai written by my favorite sentai writer. It's just a safe, standard-procedure show.

I can tell that he was "giving up" by the time Fiveman came around. I hope there are some decent multiparters atleast to look forward too.

I know this 2nd Robo & Gunther debut is a 2 parter.

The writer did Goggle V to Fiveman. I wouldn't say he had given up, I think he just exhausted himself by the time he hit Fiveman.

6 or so good shows in a row is a better run than a lot of these writers manage with even periods of rest (e.g. how badly the Agito writer crashed and burned two years later with Faiz).

Five Carrier/Five Star/Gunther 2 parter did not dissapoint.

This along with that FiveRed ep #15 are the burning fire of the series thus far.

I'm halfway done the series. It's really not that bad of a series I would have to put it in the same category as Zyuranger so far. Not the best but not the worst either.

The hand puppets bit was fucked and the FiveRobo dressed up like a Carni was beyond fucked. I tell ya' some of these writers gotta be on crack. :laugh:

The Super Five Robo combination looks excellent and the camera shots now seem to be showing more of the Max Magma base when the team calls the Five Machines. Very cool looking base, I wonder what the "Ultrazord" will look like.

Shubalie (Green Flash) is pretty cool so far. A weird intro with him singing. Can someone further elaborate on this new villian for me? What is known about him? He just sorta popped outta nowhere and now seems to be combining his monsters with Silver Empire's beasts and looks like he's fueding with Garoa.

The Max Magma is pretty fucking sweet too. DekaBase Robo ain't got **** on it.

He was the former captain of the Valgyre ship. He helped in the conquering of many of the planets Zone has taken over and was rewarded by Medo, so he left and went about his business. There's some nutty business about Shubalie believing himself to be a celebrity, which is why he's more of a "showman." :laugh: He catches on how poorly their war on Earth is going so lends a hand, taking back his former position -- which is the biggest reason Garoa hates him. It seemed like they always hated each other, though, so maybe it's something I'm forgetting.

I'm really liking Shubalie, he's fun to watch. I liked the part where he sang "Happy Birthday FiveRed!" and sang the Fiveman theme. Very very different and cool for a new villian. I think the fact that he was Green Flash also adds to the coolness.

These last few episodes have been EXCELLENT, "A Dangerous Mother", "Gaku Dies", "Kill from Within", "Gaku's Secret", "Human Cannonball", "Imposter Sibiling Teacher".

And right now I'm watching "Please Give Love" which has some Alien Woman coming to Earth and her parents were killed by Zone and as she was about to be killed until Billion saved her. The music in this scene was simply beautiful and the part where he sliced the flower and they flew onto the dead bodies was just great. It's episodes like this that prove that Tokusatsu is the best damn thing since Pornography and Sliced bread. Just wondering why Billion saved her and why he seemed to be ignoring her once she arrived on the Valgyre?. This is officially the best Sentai episode I have ever watched. Period.

Also, The Five Tector armor just came outta nowhere for me. I didn't know this team has Power Ups and I must say they do look pretty good.
