Cate Blanchett is a Power Ranger!

So I was just watching the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and tonight's guest was Cate Blanchett, one of my favourite actress right now in Hollywood.

She was just mentioning that her son is a huge Power Rangers fan and that she has to dress up as a yellow one or as she says "the one with breasts" for her son's birthday. Which I assume is GekiYellow. Jay has no idea whats going on and shows a picture of the original Power Rangers (Zyuranger) which I doubt is the one Blanchett's son is watching.

Anyways, nice little mention of Power Rangers and Toku since it was a Zyuranger picture on American TV, which is rare now, I guess.

I would love to see a picture of her in a sentai costume. Probably be the first time an Academy Award winning actor is donning the suit! I will think a clip will show up on youtube soon.

Well, very few of them are either

a) any good

or

b) something that a real mainstream could get into. PR became a very strict sci fi show, mostly near the end of turbo. I liked when it went that way, but let's be honest, the people who were part of the fad at the time just don't get into that kind of thing.
