Candroids! Batta and Unagi

BUMP

Also, I'm just wondering what am I doing "wrong" that no one is bidding on these.
Is it that these are older toys?
Is it that I did not open shipping outside the U.S.?
Is my opening bid too high?
Should I advertise other places? (ie Rangerboard (even though I'm not a member))

It's my first time selling anything, so I may need a bit of a how-to as well.

Well, these are still items that aren't that hard to obtain. At places like AmiAmi and HLJ you can get either of these for around/under $30 (that includes shipping) there.

When I first looked at your auctions, I thought that was absurdly high. Shipping is kinda meh. You could probably send it for a touch less. imo

And I think it's probably because you're a new seller, but you gotta start somewhere. Buyers are a little weary of people starting out.

Huh, well although I have my reasons for pricing the way I did, i can see your point. How'ze about $24.98 and 8 shipping?

Also, should I open my auction to the world, or just keep in America. If so I should choose the "depends on where it goes" shipping fee.

Is there any way to get feedback before your first sale?

Just start the listing at .99 cents.

Starting an auction so high forces potential buyers out, because they dont wanna start high.

You can get feedback by purchasing items as well

Best way to get feedback before selling is go buy a few small things. Most people just look at your feedback number and to see if its positive or not.
15-20 feedback is the magic number to not scare bidders away.

Don't go international quite yet, your new and its probably just going to confuse you and the risk for loss is a lot higher.

Shipping on that item should be $4-$5 tops.

I generally start my items at .99 cents and let the market see what they're worth which is a great way to encourage bids, but if you're nervous about doing that start the listing at $15, and they should still get at least a few bids.

Another quick tip, if you get someone asking insane amounts of questions, then asking about insurance and odd payment methods, BLOCK THEM.

These people are nothing buy trouble and will likely leave you a negative if the wind is blowing too hard or just flat out rip you off.

Good Luck!

Okay but 99 cents seems too low of a starting bid for me. I like I would get at least SOME profit out of this... And what if the cost to ship for me is about $7.50? (Average cost gotten from the Post Office website.)

Thanks for the advice!
