Inspired by How To Train Your Dragon, Eiji makes use of a Dragon Core Medal together with the Unagi and Batta Core Medals.
The Unagi Core Medal is there because of Toothless' dislike of eels and the Batta Core is because I could not think of another Core Medal that would fit with the Toothless Medal.
How such a Core Medal came to be is anyone's guess. Perhaps Toothless swallowed a Cell Medal that reacted with his lightning breath, mutating it into a Core based on himself.
