Can anyone give me a hand?

I'm "trying" to play a game on my laptop.
Problem is it says that I'm missing d3dx9_##.dll so it can't play.
Now, I know that is DirectX9, but my laptop already has DirectX 10.
Soooo...I have no clue what to do.

Mind If I ask what game is that?

I'm no techie, but try patching the game or download some drivers for directX10...

If it's a recent game, try going to the game's website and posting a thread about your problem on it's message board, since chances are other people have had the same problem. If that's not an option, try downloading and re-installing DirectX. If that doesn't work, update your video card drivers.
