Bruce Wayne is back... soon!

Yes, but again, my point is that turning Bruce into an Oracle figure won't instantly devalue him as a character, especially if they already have someone else running around in the cowl-and-cape that fans like.

As I understand it, Dick Grason's run under the Bat-Mask has been well received, so that point is covered already.

I'll put this in simpler terms. Fans don't care what Bruce Wayne does outside of his "core" books that affect him as an overall character and in continuity. Batman Beyond is an alternate universe and people realize it is just for fun and will have no affect on what happens to Bruce Wayne.

Bruce Wayne will always be Bruce Wayne. DC will always keep Bruce Wayne as the World's Greatest Detective in his books in continuity. Anything out of continuity, people realize is just for a good read

Who are you to decide what fans care about?

In most cases, these "alternate universe" legacy titles are good examples of what should be done, they shouldnt be dismissed just because there set in other universes if there still setting the bar and inspiring decisions in the mainstream continuity. That's what comics SHOULD be about

Right now, ARCHIE comics sales have INCREASED because there taking risks outside of the core books and telling stories of him married to Betty and Veronica in alternate timelines.

You can go on any forum and see what fans are thinking, and see the general belief among the fandom. And the general belief is that everything out of continuity is for fun
