Bruce Timm's name is on the upcoming Green Lantern: The Animated Series. This ultimately SOLD me.

Has anyone got any other info on the new series?.

A sneek peek episode is coming in October and the actual series will debut in 2012.

I wonder if it could be in the DCAU continuity since Timm is running it?.

Nah, Timm's been doing a lot of work unconnected to the DCAU for a long time now, he's a producer on Young Justice and that has nothing to do with the DCAU either.

Seems like an okay show, but I really HATE how kiddy the CGI looks.

Why we couldn't get a 2d style like JLU??!!!! I like the fact we have Red Lanterns...now that they seem to be in control....not so much.

The CGI is a total turn off. I prefer the way CGI was used in Silver Surfer:TAS and JLU. Where it was used from time to time like with space ships and stuff.

One thing that may keep me interested is seeing more of the GLUniverse. I'm so interested in the other Lantern Corps and stuff.

I'm still gonna watch the first episode. It's my rule that I have to at least watch the first episode of a show that maybe good.

However, is it weird that I see the CG as Cartoon Network's way of showing how much faith they have in this series?
