Bolt's Batman Begins Review

Batman's voice, lord, way too over the top.

I saw Bale's Batman and he just didn't have the voice down. Keaton did a great Batman voice.

I thought Bale's "Batman Voice" was perfect. He's supposed to sound menacing to scare the **** out of these criminals. All Keaton did was whisper when he was in the Batsuit like he was trying to get the crooks into bed with him. Keaton did a great job but I felt Bale fit much better into his role here.

Anyone worthwhile in the James Bond fandom knows that Dalton is the best Bond, bringing to life best Ian Fleming's creation -- damn the MGM lawsuits that pushed back their productions, causing impatient Dalton to leave!

Connery was the first that people fell for, but he had only four good Bond films (Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger and Thunderball) and began to phone in his performances as his films went on. His last great 007 performance was in Goldfinger...after that, he collected the checks. Three and a half good Bond movies, really, because Thunderball runs on for too long.

Damn, did I get this thread off track. I think Bolt would have been proud of that, though!

Just as Dalton is the best Bond, Keaton is the best Batman. There, slightly back on track. Just as Burton & Keaton rescued Batman from the pits of camp hell, Dalton did the same for Bond after the mockery of Moore.

Man... what kind Bolt's review is that?! Batman Begins... disappointed? Wow. His review sucks. I love that movie.

Hehe, I'm still always going to expect Dalton to say "Give me the rocket!" though. :anime:

You know, I'm not afraid to admit that I own "The Rocketeer" on DVD. Partly because of Dalton, partly because I used to have a thing for Jennifer Connelly, but mostly because that's a pretty fun movie. Who knew Disney could make a good superhero flick that wasn't moronic? Not to mention featuring Nazis as the villains!

God damn, the Rocketeer... that was like my favorite movie as a little kid. Howard Hughes was a character in it! And that giant guy with the weird face, and the blimp flying into Hollywoodland! They don't make kids movies like that anymore. Now it's all retarded, watered down garbage, like "Shark Boy and Lava Girl." Damn you Robert Rodriguez, you schizo bastard.

-EDIT- Hey, I just remembered how Timothy Dalton instantly developed a psuedo-German accent at the end of Rocketeer when he revealed he was a Nazi. That was hilarious. ACH!

Oh, don't get me wrong- guilty as charged myself. Great film, Dalton makes the movie.

Anyways, back to the new Batman...I'm still pretty amazed by the just cast line-up alone.

Heh... I remember seeing the Rocketeer in the movies. I was young then so I don't remember many details of the flick though.
