The last one? The fight between the Guyver and the Zoanoid Guyver? The one kicked ass. Lots of cool moments, like when Guyver was knocked off the bridge, caught with his foot than his hand, and then kicked the Zoanoid in the face.

I read that last sentence, and I realize that being on the internet has ruined my grammar.

The fight between the Guyver and the Zoanoid Guyver? The one kicked ass.

The VERY first exchange in the fight was the only one I liked, the rest was very poorly edited and, goddamit, was overwired. A better fight than that was when Sean was kicking those two Zoanoids' asses in and out of the "ship" while the good Doctor was dealing with the Guyver Zoanoid. The best fight in the film though was easily when Sean rescued that chick in the forest.

I'm a fan of wired stuff as long as you don't call attention to it with uber slow motion and stuff. If it goes by as fast as the rest of the fight and isn't totally rediculous, then it's cool.

See, I thought all the overwired jumps and falls were ridiculous. If the other fights had been wired I would've at least been prepared for the wirework holocaust at the end, but nay.

Well, I'm used to Koichi's work in Wicked Game, Savate, Drive, and other films where he didnt use gimmicks like that as much, plus I'm a die-hard HK purist.

Anyway, I just started watching the Bioboosted Armor series (2005) and it's pretty good so far.
Probably would have never checked it out if The Guyver wasn't on Sci-Fi network last week and I saw part of. Which then made me want to go rent the movies (still have yet to watch Guyver 2) and then made me start looking for the new anime series to download and watch.

So concider me a converted Guyver fan

Wow this is old, but Guyver 2 is like 10 Bajillion times better than the first one, so you should see it pronto.

Guyver: Dark Hero is MMPR with an R Rating. Best Guyver film period.
