How was I being a douchebag? Because I state my opinion in a objective manner without any *emotes* or happy smileys? Besides I'm a critic. Its what critics do. Criticize. I don't proclaim I'm right, I make a good or strong debate to show my point. You want douchebag criticism? Obviously. Its your logic that is telling you that Gurren Lagann doesn't need logic. We can have one big chain of logic-doxes going on if you think about it. Lets leave it at this, GL and Ideon get mad at each other but instead of fighting they go out for a drink like chums.

It's not that you're a douchbag. But I do find that you tend to put words in people's mouths. It causes reactance, causing people to be more antagonistic towards your posts, and defensive of their own.

But anyway...

When fighting for what you believe in, sometimes you just have to trust in something greater than reason.

Would you rather believe in the Ide? A jaded as **** existence that wants everyone to destroy each other and the Universe to begin anew because they freaking hate the current humans? (I'm beginning to think they can't ever be pleased.)

I'm beginning to question why the OP makes these threads. Disney stuff I can understand, as he likes them, but for this....it looks like he based this entire poll on what he's heard about Ideon and what he's seen about Evangelion. And he obviously hasn't seen TTGL.
