It's a shame that everything but the fight scenes are poor, it really turns me off watching it...

It's not easy to make a movie, especially on zero dollars. I'm sure Jay would appreciate any critiques you have to offer but it would help to make them at least semi-constructive instead of just going out of your way to sound like a snob.
Anyway, I had the privelage of being shown bits and pieces of this while it was being edited and I think Jay has really found a niche for this kind of thing. Independent Toku isn't done very much and this really has the feel of some of the old Larry Leong Hero vs. Alien shorts and I think he and his team did a great job shooting this to make it actually feel similar to the way Kamen Rider shows are directed and shot. This is actually a very professionally-made short and deserves attention in more areas that the action choreography even if the acting isn't Oscar-worthy.

I kinda found the amateur acting that much more charming. I thought the Kiva discussion was funny, and for the record, Fernando actually likes Kiva. :anime:
Oh and if we're being honest, I will say I liked the fighting more in his previous flick.
Choreography in this one I felt was a bit more simplistic.

I do like Kiva. IXA is one of my favorite Riders. Fernando Ramos put that line about Kiva to give the two characters something in common to share (I actually am not sure how mr. Ramos feels about Kiva). I would have said Hibiki (i personally don't like Hibiki), but with the whole vampire craze that's going around lately, these characters probably would not enjoy that. I can tell you though that they like Kabuto and Blade a lot.

This was not bad at all, the action was really well done, though yes, the acting needs work. BUT. It's not as bad as Shuuyu stated, in fact it did seem to flow and feel natural to a point where even though it's not award winning, it was still believable.
Just tell Jay to edit out the Kiva Hate part before FQ sees this.
