Ed Benes on Batman? Ew. I'm so sick of his art. I don't know why he's so popular, his art just comes off as lazy, sloppy, and rushed all at the same time.

He's a good artist for pinups and things, but other than that, it doesn't really translate to well as far as high action goes.

That's exactly what I'm expecting. I have a feeling that Jason Todd might be the Red Robin. That'd be so badass.

If not, then Tim could be one.

It's probably Tim. He does wear the Red Robin hood and cowl after getting horribly burned in the last few issues of Robin. Since Winnick is writing Batman, I think there is a good chance Jason might pop either as another Batman or as the Red Hood.

I got the issue #2 today and it was frickin' badass. Jason Todd/Batman is definitely badass with guns!

Also, I saw the preview of Red Robin #2 cover (it's on the last page of this issue, they have Robin on this.)

If Tim got horribly burned in the last few issues, then what happened to the scorch marks in BFtC? He looks perfectly fine now... o.o Err... as fine as he could be with a batarang in his chest... lol

I thought it was cool seeing Tim Drake in the old Batman suit. And, if it ends up being him, I think Dick willl be a good batman. I hope Jason Todd becomes Red Robin, so Tim can become the new NIGHTWING :thumbs: heh just a thought.

I don't think it's Jason. The new preview pages are out and we see the Red Robin usng a quarterstaff, which isn't Jason Todd's usual weapon of choice (guns).

Yeah I'm starting to believe Tim is Red Robin, after reading this interview: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=20785 I assume the cover is just to show the change of directions for Tim. As for Jason Todd, who knows.

Well, I'd rather Tim stayed as Robin but I can live with him being Red Robin. I have to say though, the guy sure has beefed up a bit. Minor quibble, but he doesn't really look like a typical 18-year-old teen (he is this age right?)
