Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes

Watching the 2nd episode now... it's aw-ight. Tony Stark's voice is pretty bad and obnoxious.

Whaaa? lol Yo he sounds just like RDJ, which I find amazing. :O_O: Just a little higher.

Do you mean obnoxious by the way he sounds like spidey with some of his wise cracks? Cuz I think I know what you mean then.

I mean just obnoxious obnoxious... I've been watching a bunch of episodes tho and this show keeps getting better by leaps and bounds! Only the Tony Stark episode sucked.

I'm VERY impressed.

Downloading more, now!

What? RDJ was a jerk--this Iron Man's kind of a jerk.

Saw the Cap episode with friends the other night (along with the other three) and they're officially fans of the cartoon.

Loved the new episode myself. Watching Cap smack Iron Man and Thor around was hilarious. T'Challa is finally starting to make his move as well--should be interesting.

Thus far, EHM has followed the basic story of Avengers history, right down to Cap appearing in the fourth episode, but they're adding their own personal twists. Only other series I recall doing that is Spectacular Spider-Man. So it's in great company.

They've done a great job of retelling the classic stories but still making it feel like it "belongs" to the people watching it now. Whether or not you know that this is all a retelling of some awesome comics back in the 60s doesn't make the story any more or less engaging.

That's actually something I've been really worried about re: the Avengers movie. I'm not sure if the cartoon will be a blessing or a curse in that regard. On one hand, it'll give a lot more people a reason to care about the Avengers, but it's also going to be a difficult act to follow.

I saw a G.I. Joe homage where one of the choppers was being piloted by Wild Bill, a Predator homage where this one guy looked just like the Indian in Predator and the end of the episode where The Hulk made a run to Antarctica the episode ended the way the 2nd Hulk movie was suppose to end.

This show is freaking incredible.

^And a Wolverine homage when Wolverine was.....there. lol

I get what Keith is saying about Tony. It's not the character so much the voice it's like a winy RDJ.

A few of his lines in the shorts didn't help, like the time he was surprised that a bad guy who was attacking the united nations actually shot at a him. And really can you blame the guy? I expect all terrorist to just give up quietly as soon as I fly in and start shouting at them.

I'm IRON MAN. Just a couple hours ago I took out a giant freaking robot (which they televised) and you're going to shoot at me with a bazooka? What are you, an idiot? (Well, he was, but still.)

Of COURSE he's surprised. The man's a genius and he expects other people to be, if not smart, then at least not STUPID.
