Is Ryo just a reissue?

Yup. Ryo is just a plain ol reissue. Something doesnt look right about Toma though. His horns are not supposed to be silver. They are supposed to be gold. I hope thats not the final product we see in the pics.:disappoin

I think it just looks that way because of the lighting. I'm not 100% sure though.

I also noticed he's missing his backpack/quiver thing, so I hope that gets added for the final release as well.

the new Ryo has a brighter red metallic finish. its emulating the scene in the show where he's in the volcano. the heat and fire charged up the Rekka armor making him more powerful. Hence why its called the "power up color ver." Also I believe there's a new face not included in the original along with the eyes being painted in the more show-accurate blue color.

Touma does come with his backpack/quiver.

^OK cool thanks for the pic.:thumbs: Now I can see that Touma's horns are gold. I shouldve known bandai wouldnt screw that up. I cant wait till he comes out. Im thinking about picking up another Ryo. I might get him just to display one with the armor and one without since I already have the first release.

I hate that they're exclusive, though. That just makes them mondo expensive than what I was hoping for, and this was something I'd actually WANT to collect and complete.

Yeah, I was pretty excited about collecting the whole team. There's no way I'm paying ~$100 a piece for them, though.

I'll just have to be happy with my full set of those figures that came out over here when Ronin Warriors was on TV.

Dammit Bandai, I'm glad to see it's got the pack, because now I definitely want it and Ryo. I've always wanted show accurate figures from the series.

At the same time now I have to save up even more money to collect them.

Collecting can be such a b****.
