It is the year 2012. The Skye Experimental Empire, a strange empire of land-dwelling creatures, has forced humanity to go underwater in colonies with their experiments. Humanity has attempted to fight back with no success, until now...
Chapter 1: Hero's Beginning
Kenji Anba was having a hard time getting used to living under the water. A former SWAT team member born in the US to Japanese parents, he hated how dark the underwater cities were. The artificial oxygen generators were stuffy at times, and the only animal life inside the cities were dogs and other pets. No birds, insects or flowers. He grimaced at the thought of not being able to go nature spotting again.
He paced down the steel streets impatiently. A strange man in shades walked up to him and pulled out a knife. Anba judo-flipped the man onto his back and took the knife from him. The man snickered. "Son, you've passed the test! Come with me!" Kenji looked at the man curiously. "I'm Captain Takayuki Masahara of the Earth Reclamation Force. I've chosen you to be the leader of a new task force. Aquatic Squadron- Hydroman!!" Kenji looked at him inquisitively. "Just follow me, son!" Kenji obeyed reluctantly.
Inside the base where Masahara took him, Kenji looked up in amazement at the various submarine and aquatic vehicles. "Those are no ordinary vehicles, Kenji. Those are the Hydro Amphibians. Your vehicles in the battle against them. Come let me introduce you to your teammates and equipment." Kenji stepped into the room. Four other people were standing looking at him. "Your two male teammates- Takeshi Shimon-Blue Jellyfish. Akira Tsubasa- Yellow Eel." Both smiled and shook his hand. "Your female team members- Naomi Norinaga- Pink Octopus, and Anna Shirakawa- Black Orca." Naomi smiled and curtseid and Anna shook his hand. Masahara handed him an airhorn-like object. "You are Silver Shark. Everybody press the buttons on your horns." They did and they were showered in bubble like emissions. They came out in their respective colored-suits, and prepared to fight Skye. "Everyone, be careful, their HedorKaijin are created by pollutants and so are their minions. Protect the sea life. Move out using that large sub- the Whale Shark."
"Godspeed, Aquatic Sentai Hydroman." As the large sub/ rolling vehicle took off, Masahara saluted.
