Anyone into Criminal Justice?

I've been considering taking a criminal justice class (possibly even majoring in the field just to broaden my horizons), and I was just wondering if anyone here happens to be into it or have a career in CJ? If so, I'd really like to know the experience of it all...

I was really into it, and I did a research paper on it. it was really interesting, but I lost interest because people talk me out of it because of my art talent. I would have gone all the way into forensic science to open up corpses and see what happened, (got the stomach for it)

there are universities/colleges out there that specializes on it. wish I could help more, I could have end up like Dexter though...

As far as the class experience goes, I'd say take them if you're interested. I've had a few Criminal Justice classes myself and they've always been pretty darn fun, though it's way outside of my field, but they were nice classes that did a lot to broaden my horizons.

I took a few courses in Criminal Justice and I am currently in Job Corps taking Security as a backup for my career. I am also trying to get into Sac state to major in Criminal Justice, because I have goal to work as a defense attorney.

I'd say, if you truly want to pursue a career in CJ, then go for it. I am rooting for you.
