Anyone Interested In Taking Over Japan Hero?

So ... you make it sound like things are really going to happen Keith.

I think it would be interesting to somehow get involved with this. Not sure what in the heck I would do though.

Anyway, if there was a merger, just be sure that Japan Hero keeps it's name. And integrate it with the HJU front page somehow. The blog is nice and I guess some people like it, but it's pretty sparse and bare when it comes to actual info. It's just a blog ... not really a place people could go to for detailed information.

Something I just thought of a little while ago (and doesn't necessarily tie into JH) but something that would be good for the front page would be a tokusatsu/tokusatsu-hero FAQ. Something explaining the basics of the style, craft and history of the genre in general, and then have a section explaining in detail each major show and it's history. Something like that may be best suited for knowledgeable folks like August and Igadevil though.

Nothing's final, but if we merged, I've noooooooo intentions of making any significant changes to the name and brand of Japan Hero.

It's the first site I ever helped head up and the one that brought me into the genre. I love it as much as any of you and Jeff like a brother. With the merger it'd defiantely make it easier for him to come back if he ever wanted to or was able to.

So... we'll see...

Honestly. i will help in anyway to preserve Japan Hero. I can also take screen shots and stuff to help. since thats one thing japan hero has lacked in the past 2 years.

Just wondering...if it did happen, would the JA Board still stay up, too? Even with the lack of traffic?

you know I dont think it should. I think it should just get wiped or have its topics sorted and moved to HJU. And of course move the members and their profiles to HJU.

I dunno... I posted over there to see what the few remaining posters think. I wouldn't want to nix a place they call home, but I'm not sure how much it matters to them.

Perhaps archive all JHA discussions in their own category on HJU, then transfer all of their members over to here?

Or we could just leave their forum be and just make links between the two sites...

I say we merge. Move all of their stuff over here into sub-forums that are related to our corresponding forums, If thats possible.

Keep the same site name, expand and add members from there over here and hopefully be able to transfer post count and such.
