Carranger ran 48 because it was a parody was a set to run that way. Ohranger was written that way. Liveman wasn't cancelled but it just got boring among fans fast! Like 29-30.

Try again -- Liveman had 49 episodes. It only lagged in the 20s, which is why they added the other two members, and ratings balanced out again.

Liveman remains a huge fan favorite amongst Japanese fans. Check out Toei Channel's site, too, which in their description for Liveman says something like "The hugely popular sentai entry..."

I don't know if you're trying to be funny or are just that misinformed, but don't give people the wrong idea.

Regarding Igadevil's posts of older Riders...

I'm definitely not one of those people who hate the evil organizations -- I think the new Gen Riders' weaknesses come a lot from lack of regular villains. I was just saying what didn't help the old Riders in being so similar is that they were actually trying to be follow-ups to the previous show -- all of the villains had the same dude in charge and whatnot. While I do think they could put a spin on that friggin' kaizo ningen stuff (I like Kuuga and Agito's different takes on the Rider staple), I have to always remind myself that Rider was a victim of the times -- he was mostly alive in the 70s, when tokusatsu was still rusty.

One last thing...say what you will of sentai...but at least they never had to depend on a Sentai Shonen Tai. Ugh! That's THE most disgusting thing of old Rider shows. Again, I liked Black's spin on it, though. Where they were really older than they looked because they were botched Golgom experiments!

Well, I only did Henshin once!! Mostly I'm either doing my work and when I'm not doing my work I'm looking at stuff on the Internet.

Speaking of the Internet, I mostly look at Toku, Power Rangers and Japanese related stuff. Everybody else just looks at Porn, which is what they do all day. No work, just Porn!!! :laugh:

Er, did it once when nobody was watching. Only me and the Japanese teacher were there walking in the hallway, and we were talking about Kamen Rider and Toku stuff for a bit, and I did an impersonation of Kamen Rider and she just giggled coz she knows I'm into Toku and that kinda thing.
