I like where this series is going and these last episodes since Maverick's reveal have been awesome!. I expect that maybe Kotetsu will loose his powers completely by the end of this arc in the battle against Dark Wild Tiger or possibly Maverick itself (although doubt he has any fighting abilities)

I more see the current season as Season 2. There was a Time-Skip.
