Anime-ted Super Sentai/Kamen Rider?

This might be a kinda stupid idea, but...

What do you think are the chances of a Super Sentai or Kamen Rider show being done anime-style? And when that happens, what will be your reaction?

Strangely, I do kinda like the ending for how utterly shocking it really is (because I literally had *no* clue it was going to end up like that, and just sat there with my mouth open for the last 10 or so minutes.) But it does deviate a lot from the tamer comic version, which delivers the same basic message in a less depressing way. I don't think either quite pulls off the magic of the live action series ending, which is a complete 180 in tone, but the message is somehow so much more profound than "it sucks to be Jiro".

The thing is, the ending of the original Rider comic is... pretty strange itself, I'm not sure an animated version would really do it justice. Not unless they follow it precisely, and even then it's an ending that still leaves you going "Huh?"

Now the ZO comic, that would be awesome animated.

Did you see the Kikiader VS Inazuman the Animation special? It was supposedly the real ending to the series.

Did you see the Kikiader VS Inazuman the Animation special? It was supposedly the real ending to the series.

Yeah, I saw it, and read the comic version as well. It does go some way to give closure to the whole thing. OT, but I still haven't seen the very end of the newer Cyborg 009 series, but it's on the to-do list. The end of the comic's sad, but pretty awesome... well, the original ending at least.

Back on track, although there aren't animated versions, a couple of the newer movies have comic adaptations. Kiva's got a pretty cool one recently in the upstart "Heroes" magazine. I like the art style, it'd be fun to see it animated.

rider kicks are only cool when its live imo:disappoin anime would make the kicks too far fetched

As opposed to the Kiva kick where he jumps into the red sky on one leg, does a straight legged back flip and mysteriously can propell himself forward to deliver a kick that not only kills the fanguire, but leaves a gigantic Kiva mark in whatever was behind the fanguire. Or how's about his legs growing prehensile claws which slash out as he's kicking the fanguire.

My point... the Rider Kick is already far fetched these days.
