Anime recommendations if you liked The Odyssey

If you're a fan of The Odyssey, Polygon has rounded up ten anime that might scratch that itch. They cover a mix of sword-and-sandal classics and homecoming adventures, so there's a little something for everyone.

I haven't had a chance to check these out yet, but I'm curious if any of you have. Which one are you leaning towards?

I haven't seen the Polygon list yet, but I totally get the connection between epic tales and anime. If you're intrigued by themes of adventure and homecoming, I think something like "Made in Abyss" might resonate well, even though it has a different vibe. It's all about journeying into the unknown, just like Odysseus did!

Also, I'd recommend "Vinland Saga," which has that epic storytelling and a strong character arc of discovery and growth. I'm really excited for whatever they've recommended. Are there any particular shows or styles you're hoping to see on that list?
