Anime: Persona 4 The Animation

Starting watching a couple episodes a night. I'm really enjoying it. I've always loved the Persona 4 characters, and this is just like more of the game. Except without playing the game... which I badly want to replay now. :redface2:

The changes they make from the game still fit the over all theme. I loved the p4 anime.

I started rewatching the series again. One of my personal favorite episodes was the Mitsuo Kubo fight episode, where Yuu was shown an illusion of what his life would be like if they "captured the killer" and Kubo was the killer. It really showed a different side of Yuu than the one-dimensional "create-your-own-main-character" side the game portrays. This episode, I would have really wanted to make a review about.

It shows that the connection Yuu had formed with the Investigation Team will last with him, even if the killer would be caught, and he is desperate enough for the friendship between them all to stay together. But it was a really hard-hitting episode, since friends in real life will do that.

Yeah now that you mention it, you might have a point. Yu is just badass in this episode.

Oh and on a side-note, what nickname shall we give Yu? I mean we gave Kougami from Kamen Rider OOO the nickname "cakeboss". Let's come up with a nickname for Yu too.

Fans classify the game version of Yuu in relation to "pimp", "banchou", and badass, more than P3 game version of Eiji Kurokami. But that's because you can make him to anything you want him to be. Because Yuu is more concrete than the game, it'd be better to classify his anime incarnation to something more related to the anime.

All I could come up with is "Pimp Narukami."

Edit: And I cried in Episode 18, the Nanako/Dojima episode...I'm beary sensitive about those types of episodes....

Persona 4's True Ending episode, Episode 26 (DVD/BD release only), is finally subbed.

........and the show finally ends. Well, it sure was a fun ride. Now we just need to wait for Persona 3 The Animation and we're all good.
