Animal Crossing: Wild World - Thoughts

I just bought the Animal Crossing Wild World for the DS two days ago and I am loving it already. I do have a few questions that came up while playing...

1. What is the easy and fastest way to pay mortgage. I need to pay off Tom Nook about 98,000 bells more for my second mortgage on my house.

2. How can I visit other towns?

3. How can I start digging for fossils. It seems that no one is selling a shovel.

Nook will pay ALOT more for fruit that doesn't grow in your town. Also selling fossils will net you some good cash. Or you could be like me and have someone give you a shitload of bells....and when I say shitload...I mean SHITLOAD :169:

2. How can I visit other towns?

First you have to have someone's friend code...then they have to have yours. Then you can either open your gate (to have people visit you), or select "go out" to go visit someone else's town.

3. How can I start digging for fossils. It seems that no one is selling a shovel.

I believe Nook starts selling the shovel when he upgrades to the second store. Then it's a good idea to buy another shovel and bury your first. Just remember where you bury it, because in 24hrs you'll have a Golden Shovel

I usually trust your judgement, MJRM, but I just wanna ask.....is AC really that great? I was always kinda weary of the Gamecube game, but now that I'll probably be getting a DS in about a week and a half or so, I'm looking for some really good games.

I would suggest getting it along with Tetris and Mario Kart. I usually go for games with WiFi capabilities because I get a lot more for my money...plus I just love beating those jabronie otakus from Japan (especially on Tetris).:buttrock:
