That's what happens when they make a well done suit for Rider 1's final design. He looks better in his own show because the flaws in the costume, like dented helmet and chest, give it more detail than the actual correct design. The Decade version was too clean but without any actual added detail to the design... so he ends up just looking worse.

I liked, I thought it was fine the way it was in the movie. Although Stronger's head was still...big.

It may have been made of better materials but it looked WORSE then it did back in the day.

Then again, maybe I'm just annoyed at how he and Niigo looked almost exactly the same, minus the gloves.

Niigo had a darker helmet, damnit.

It is very likely that the classic Ichigo costume will look worse in a modern film shot at extremely high resolutions than it did in the original series, which was probably not even broadcast at full 480i resolution. The costume would probably need to be redesigned to hold up to modern filming and Japanese viewers can be persnickety about redesigns.

I didn't read that when I made my second post, but yeah.

I agree with this entirely. It was too....not worn.

Ichigo has a GREAT design. It can be translated and remade faithfully and still look very good (Looking at you, Kamen Rider the First)

But it has to have a bit of...wornness to it. A bit of...

It can't look so clean and perfect. That just makes the flaws stand out all the more.

That was always inconsistent. In the original series, after he returned as a guest star, with new red gloves and boots (Shin Nigo), he had the helmet colors shown in All Riders.

Even in the first few episodes of V3, he still had that design. When the Double Riders returned in V3's movie, Rider 2 got his darker helmet back, based on his original costume, although still keeping the red gloves and boots. X was terribly inconsistent with that though, ending up giving the black helmet to Rider 1 too.

#2 appeared with the black helmet many times afterwards while Rider 1 returned to the lighter helmet, up to ZX. However, when they returned in Black RX, Rider 2 was back to the lighter helmet design, and it has pretty much become the definitive official design of Kamen Rider Shin Nigo. Not only Decade, Ganbaride also uses the lighter helmet for Rider 2's final form (and it actually labels it as "Shin Nigo", not just "Nigo". So, it's recognizing that the red gloves/boots design is a different form and also that he's supposed to have that lighter colored helmet).

That's....really sad actually.

I prefer Niigo's helmet.

Part of the 4ch post that came with this image said that Takeru was quite ticked that Amuse wouldn't let him take part in this. Since he only ever seems to have a drama when there's Rider filming that would want him, his next show, that should start filming any time now if it hasn't already, makes a LOT more sense.

I say its fake because the cast list is abit...odd. Why is Kickhopper and Ouja on there?!

If this is a fan's most wanted list and they are choosing the 'greatest' Riders then I don't really think Kiva and those secondary Riders should be on there.

My choices would be:

Ichigou, V3, X, Stronger and BLACK who represents the Showa Era. Kuuga, Agito, Kabuto, Den-o (Due to popularity in Japan and is a factor to bring in more money) and Double plus the newest Rider in 2011.

Wait. Wait. Wait.

Hows about we DON'T include the newest Rider?

And have this sell on story and character?

You know, fan base loyalty and the awesomeness that'd be having all of these great Riders come back to fight evil side by side, without cheap gim....
