Am i the only one that finds ecchi funny...

Ok, full discloser, i watch Ecchi, in fact right now i'm working through KissXSis.
But not because i find it exciting and Fapable, but due to the fact most of it is Hilarious.

It's just absurd the lengths these shows go to make things look sexy or phallic. Cucumbers and Banana's abound.

They are like PG-13 Sex comedies overs here (though more explicit).

I find them funny anyway, anyone else?

I never understood animes that have tons of ecchi, tons of nudity, or anything like that for no reason. Most of the time, those kind of things are just there. It's often gratuitous and contributes NOTHING to the show. That's not how you make something that appeals to a mature audience. Either be hentai or be something serious, but don't try to be something in between.

I like ecchi when it's actually funny, or has a plot outside of it's nudity.

For example, I love the currently running B Gata H Kei. It's ecchi but not as much as I would think and it's really funny. Most of the dirty stuff comes from dialogue and innuendo. Basically, it's like if you took all the dirty talk and innuendo of South Park and stuffed it in a romantic comedy. I also like Nyan Koi. Mainly because I love cats and the ecchi in it is very behind the romantic comedy setting. I also love Sora no Otoshimono because having read the manga, it has a very strong plot with character development. It also gave us an epic song about nipples and that's okay with me.

I'm also probably the only person in the world who declares Elfen Lied a work of art.

What I don't like is borderline hentai with no plot or a disguise plot. I tried watching Queen's Blade once. The first episode had a rabbit voiced by Rie Kugimiya squeezing acid milk out of her tits. After I finished sobbing seeing my beloved KugiRie-sama in a role like that, I realized that the show was stupid and never gave it another glance. Also retarted plot like Akikan turns me off. I don't care if Jun Fukuyama was in it, fighting soda cans does not appeal.

I guess it depends if I laugh during it or think it's actually interesting.

I like some Ecchi, not the ones that are too extreme. I've heard Godannar is pretty good, anyone seen it?
