I like the Akira movie, I still want to read the manga
but I prefer the re-dub with JYB's voice tallents to the original dub and original japanese version
although I do admit the movie is severly overrated

I have to agree that the Pioneer dub was much better done than the cartoony Streamline dub (which had voice talent from the old Ninja Turtles cartoon), even though I do like the Streamline dub for nostalgic reasons.
