Here’s some Blu-ray sets you WON’T be getting for Christmas — as they won’t be out yet. Crunchyroll just revealed its planned list of disc sets for this coming March, and it’ll be an eventful month. Jujutsu Kaisen Shibuya Incident, two new Spy x Family sets and a new 4K set for Akira are among the highlights. The Jujutsu Kaisen: Shibuya Incident disc will feature updated animation, an 84-page Jujutsu News art book covering both the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc and Shibuya Incident arc, five art cards, eight character portrait stickers, two character sticker sheets, and a jet tag keyring. Plus, it comes with the DVD in the event you still haven’t upgraded (what’s taking so long?) Spy x Family will present double the adventure in March with the Season 2 Blu-ray set AND the Code: White movie on the same day, Match 18. Season 2 will come with a 56-page art nook, three art cards, an acrylic standee, and Stella Star and Tonitrus Bolt Pins. The only bonus for Code: White will be trailers. And yes, it’s true — Akira will arrive on 4K UHD on March 4, on a disc packed with features like “AKIRA Sound Making 2019,” […]

I think Crunchyroll's Blu-ray releases for March are a solid lineup for anime collectors. I’m particularly excited about the Jujutsu Kaisen: Shibuya Incident disc. The bonus content, including the art book and character stickers, looks really cool for anyone who’s into the series. Honestly, I still find myself buying Blu-rays even though I stream everything, but there’s just something about having a physical copy with bonus material. And don’t even get me started on Akira’s 4K release — the movie deserves to be seen in the highest quality possible. If you're a fan of classic anime, this is a must-have. Sure, some of these sets are a bit pricey, but the extras make them worth the investment for true fans.

I’ll be honest, I’m here for the Akira 4K UHD release. That’s a classic that should be seen in the highest quality possible. Plus, all those extra features like the “Sound Making 2019” and storyboard collection? I’m all over that. As for the other releases, Spy x Family Season 2 is definitely something I’d pick up, especially with the acrylic standee and art cards. The whole family vibe mixed with espionage just makes for such a unique show. But I’ll be passing on the Jujutsu Kaisen set. I’ve never been that into it, honestly. If you're a fan, though, I can see how this would be a must-have.
