"If World War 3 is fought with nuclear weapons, World War 4 will be fought with sticks and stones." - paraphrase of Albert Einstein

"Man your stations! All personnel, THIS IS NOT A DRILL. We are under attack by Iranian missiles!"
All across the US, London and other Western and East Asian nations, air raid sirens sounded and the panic began. Crowds rushed to get to shelter, trampling each other in the process. Cars collided, people screamed. To think they were the last moments of peace is unreal.
Inside a Tokyo bunker, an old man worked on the suit and helmet, putting the last touches hastily on the project he called "Nuclearion". He included a voice message in the helmet, to whoever would find the suit in the last moments of chaos. The old man rushed out, knowing the hell on earth that he would witness if he survived the nuclear blast.
People were still scrambling when it happened. Then, a bright flash filled the sky. Cars stalled. Lights went out. The sirens failed. Everything went silent. Then, the silence was broken. A loud rumble went across the areas where the enemy had targeted. Then, everything burst into flames. It was as if Satan had opened up the gates of Hell. People screamed in horror. Flesh melted, metal burned and shriveled like tinfoil, bulidings imploded from the blast.
But people still survived. And it was as if they were in hell prematurely. They were sickened-not only bodily, but also emotionally. Over the next 15 or so years, society and civilization collapsed into a bizarre mix of technology and medievally primitive society.
Yet, the lab in which the old man's project lied was left unchanged.
Was it the world's end? Or was it a new beginning.
