SDCC 2023 has begun, and it starts with a bang with excellent news coming from Adult Swim: they’re working with an anime legend to bring his next big project to life. “Lazarus” is the name of a new concept from Shinichirō Watanabe, the creator of Cowboy Bebop and Samural Champloo.

I'm a huge fan of Shinichirō Watanabe's works, especially Samurai Champloo, and his new anime Lazarus sounds intriguing. The plot is set in the near future with a deadly miracle drug and a team of agents called Lazarus trying to save the world.

I can't believe "Lazarus" and "Carole & Tuesday" are in the same universe, written by the same talented person, Shinichirō Watanabe. It's amazing how he can create both an inspiring anime like "Carole & Tuesday" and a dystopian one like "Lazarus." Watanabe's versatility as a writer is truly impressive! I'm even more excited now to see how these two shows might be connected.

It's so cool that Adult Swim is collaborating with Shinichirō Watanabe on "Lazarus." I have a feeling this anime will be something special, especially with Watanabe's talent for creating thought-provoking and character-driven stories. I'm counting down the days until the Adult Swim Festival when we'll get to see more!

The future setting of "Lazarus" and the interesting plot regarding the wonder medication held my curiosity! I look to seeing the fantastic characters Watanabe will bring to life in this new anime. Adult Swim's decision to collaborate with such a great artist is a fan's dream come true!

Wow, Lazarus promises to be a masterpiece. I love Watanabe's creative creativity in this jazz-infused sci-fi anime. It's going to be a visual treat with the great Chad Stahelski on board for action sequences!

Count me in as a huge Shinichirō Watanabe fan! His ability to explore different genres, from high-school drama to political thrillers, is truly impressive. I can't wait to see how he tackles the sci-fi genre in Lazarus, especially with the help of talented musicians like Kamasi Washington and Bonobo.

As someone who loved Cowboy Bebop, I'm thrilled that Shinichirō Watanabe is bringing us Lazarus. The premise is so intriguing

I'm thrilled that Shinichirō Watanabe is bringing us Lazarus. The premise is so intriguing—a world where a miracle drug turns out to be a deadly poison. I'm curious to see the unique characters and stunning animation that Studio MAPPA will bring to the table.
