Unfortunatly I'm not going to be able to attend this year since there is a Stargate Con I'm going to next month, and I'm just not going to have cash enough to go to both.

Since Trevor either can't or won't come back in here, I'll try to keep you guys in the loop..as best as I can. This is from Trevor as of 10 March:

Ok, we are now only about 2 months out from the Convention we all know and Love. And the suite as always is in place. We're back at the old Suite with rooms for crashing. The rate is the standard $150 we've come to expect and I would like to start collecting that from people as soon as possible from them. Also keep in mind for those who havn't been to ACen in awhile that the guest list this year is...shall we say, Unique. So don't miss out. Also Project ACen 2 will premier this year. This is Will (Cardcaptor Will) English attempt to take the Freakin Suites basic concept and extend it even further and We will be assisting him in this endevour. With this I have also reached a decision which the Duck shall be enforcing with an Iron Flipper. For those who pay for Thier stay at the Freakin Suite 4, Food drinks and liqour will be provided to you as part of the package....If you did not pay to stay...then your out of luck. Since PA2 will be a open door party I'm bringing the suite more closed door and only for the people who payed. this is to help alleviate the danger of theft and the depletion of supplies. So I'm just letting everyone know that here and now. The ONLY exception to this rule will be Shaun because he can't stay in the suite this year.

Shawn is one of our "satellite members" so to speak. Needless to say, we're still needing to get some more information confirmed as to just how "Closed Door" this'll be, but as far as I know: You pay the 150 and you're "In Like Flint."

You guys can probably count me in to be there, unless something comes up :sweat: What are the rules about falling asleep in the suite? :169:

People have been known to fall asleep in the suite but we have three rooms set up. One room for the ladies that come, one room for the guys & the Suite proper. Now keep in mind that we won't have enough beds for everyone so it's mostly Standard Con Procedure - wherever you can find a place, you'll call your bed. People sleeping on the floor, in the chairs, I think we've even had someone sleep in the bathtub one night. We try to keep the Suite as the common area so if you're gonna crash; crash in the adjoining room(s).

speaking of suite, wondering how many people are "in" for it. You made a post and no one really replied for it. I'm still undecided if I'm attending ACEN. I have a nice amount saved up for a trip.

Haven't heard the full total yet. I'm figuring about 9 as Trevor stated earlier this thread from JAMS. Throw in Kimiden, HaiTien, and maybe Keith and that'll bring us to around 11. We need 12 to get the cost spread out enough for affordability. If you want in, just say "IN."

Hey Trev, do you still got room in the suite for 2 more? I got 2 friends that need a place to crash. I can vouch for them personally.

I, as Co-Veep in JAMS would say "the more the merrier" but since it is Trevor's name on the rooms, I'll need to check with him and see. Are these friends of yours also members of HJU or just buddies of yours from RL who also plan on coming & don't have a place to crash?
