There's no point in arguing, it's clear that neither is better -- when a hero needs to steal their other teammates' powers to upgrade, they're not even that good of a hero to begin with.

I disagree. When the bad guy's get too tough and you're not having conventional upgrades thrown at you, you gotta do what you gotta do.
