good ridance if ya ask me Toonami was the best place for Toons and action before it went to **** and was cancelled...ABC Kids kinda sucked if you ask me.

Just as I expected! Don't worry about it, guys, we still have our favorite shows on internet. They're far better than this ****. That shows that it's dying in the process. We shall see what's happening in the future.

However, it's not fair that Japan get all those Saturdays' morning programmings, other than that our very own Saturdays' morning programmings about to reach its final stage! What's the hell wrong with parents/networks that they thinking that it's only one way to showing our children is to having educational shows on the programs!

Well, you can blame all this to soccer moms, they're the responsible that most of Saturdays' morning programmings are gone for good. Soccer Moms can kiss my ass! This is very, very sad day for all of us, knowing that it's about to come to an end!

QFT. Considering they still show season ONE episodes of Hannah Montana and early episodes of Suite Life of Zach and Cody, I'm surprised it took them this long to cancel ABC Kids.

Exactly, that's what, just completely want to punch someone. There is no effort...at all, and they've been doing this for years also! How is that possible?

I said this along time ago, but I think there is literally nobody working in that part of the network. There is probably a dusty old room somewhere, with a certain amount of episodes on a machine played in rotation. That way no one even has to look at that room, come Saturday morning.

But at least with the PR seasons, and ghetto to the max commercials show that someone is alive in there...well for the moment.

I think we're overreacting a tad here. The news doesn't necessarily mean the cancellation of ABC Kids. I'll keep it short. Syndication is a wild ass business and a lot **** happens within it. They may be preparing this stuff so ABC can build up is E/I stuff so their affiliates can stay on air. Because it seems that this is syndicated that this could be aired at anytime even on Sunday. So I wouldn't just wave ABC Kids off. And if nothing else they'll just put PR on Disney XD like they were gonna in the first place.

Eh, things change. Kids don't watch Saturday morning TV now because they have entire 24/7 networks designed to cater to them and their parents probably make them spend Saturdays in organized activities.

It kinda sucks, though, that to get kids good programming now you've got to get cable or its satellite equivalent. Reminds me of when you had to get pay channels back in the 80s if you wanted the best non-PBS pre-K programming.

It disadvantages kids from families on tighter budgets, especially in such a crap economy. TV can turn into a very major expense and one that parents are sometimes too hesitant to cut, I think.

Well for me, my childhood's been dead with all those Cartoon Network and Nickelodean shows that they have stopped showing and KidsWB becoming 4KIDSTV and Fox 5 nothing having cartoons anymore

Now, while the age of Saturday morning action cartoons is ending, I do not even think it is stopping at that. From the recent trend I (and many of us) have been seeing, apparently live action is on the rise and kids either don't want to or are being peer pressured to think "Cartoons are for children" and are trying to not stay as children, and to grow up. From my childhoos, I can name COUNTLESS Cartoons that I enjoyed, but my little brothers today can only name a handfull and then jump to shows like "I Carly" or "I'm in the Band" and things like that.

However, maybe that means that if worked correctly, Toku adaptations could still survive like normal American Superheroes have? (Even though I do not want Toku to be adapted anymore :redface2

You're saying that you don't want Toku to be adapted anymore? You mean ANY toku??? Well I can understand that Americans going to see that every Toku shows is copycat of Power Rangers, they're closed-minded people I've ever seen in my entire life. They don't know what they're missing out on great shows that Japan has to offered!

For now, I think they better to leave any toku adaption alone. It didn't sit too well for this country. Sometime they will have to understand about Japanese Culture.

Well, when it comes to actual TV, I usually only watch History, Discovery, Or NatGeo. Also Food Network, and CN. So, I would actually enjoy the shows it looks like they are producing. Sure, the cartoons are gone, but I never watched ABC after Recess, Pepper Ann, and another show were off. So...


I guess that I am happy?
