A Cryptic Feeling

I. Love. Lamp.
I've been pondering this for the past couple weeks, On Saturday December 26th, We will all wake up and watch the final two episodes of our beloved Power Rangers. I know that remastered MMPR will begin the Saturday following that, But does anyone else feel kinda sad about this? That we only have two weekends of PR left? Is it just me?

I enjoyed it, and it will end (great series) I had my fun with it, but I don't think I could be sad...because its completing its story, no more bad guys...so its an end.

I will be happy...happy because I got to watch a great series end

I grew up with power rangers, and I loved them...now watching a series end like it is now...high and mighty, then I can leave it be without tears

plus...who knows, if MMPR gets more fans and revives the series. then we might see a new power rangers

How can you be so sure?

Because that's not how business works, and that's CERTAINLY not how Disney works.

If the remasters do well, Disney is going to think, "Hey, Power Rangers is still profitable." But the logical step from that isn't to make a new season. So Disney will think, "Power Rangers is still a profitable franchise, and these remasters were a hit, so we'll just keep doing them. They're MUCH cheaper than a new season, and the ratings are comparable to the new episodes, so we'll just keep remastering old PR seasons." And then they'll just keep doing that until a) they run out of seasons or b) they stop being profitable.

If the remasters tank, then they're definitely not gonna bring back a new PR season because it's gonna show them that it's not a bankable property anymore. So they're just gonna throw them in the vault. The best chance for a new PR season then would be a Russel T. Davies situation.
