Final Space Finally Concluding As Graphic Novel

A few years ago Olan Rogers teamed up with Conan O’Brien’s production company CONACO to create a new sci-fi animated series called Final Space. It was somewhat different from most American adult animated shows in that it took its lore seriously and was full of dramatic moments, not just comedy. Over the three seasons Final Space ran on Adult Swim and TBS, it gained a cult following hungry for more. Then the parent company WB merged with Discovery and you can guess what happened next.

I wish other canceled TV shows will have comics too that will serve as ending. Imagine if they do this to shows like The society, Spartacus and West World got this treatment. Those shows got canceled on their last season.

It's always disappointing when a show's planned plot arc is cut short due to events beyond the creators' control. But I have to praise Olan Rogers for working tirelessly to bring Final Space to a satisfying finish. And if anyone can do it right in the form of a graphic novel, it's him. Yes, there are restrictions imposed by Warner Bros. The limits of Discovery are unusual, but I have faith that Rogers will make the most of them and provide a genuinely epic ending.

I can sympathize with the fans of Final Space, even though I am not a viewer of the show myself. Having experienced the frustration of my favorite TV series ending without a proper conclusion, I understand their disappointment at the cancellation of the show. I also share their desire to see the conclusion of some of my own favorite series, such as Legends of Tomorrow, Hannibal, and Heroes, even if it were only in comic book form. Although the graphic novel format may not be ideal, I am glad to see that Olan Rogers was given the opportunity to finish his story. Hopefully, other creators will follow suit and give their fans the closure they deserve.

Even if it's not in the exact shape they had in mind, it's inspiring to see a creator battle for their idea and succeed in realizing it. I have no doubt that Olan Rogers will put his heart and soul into this graphic novel because of how visibly passionate he is about Final Space and its followers. Who knows, perhaps this will give more cancelled series an opportunity to finish their storylines in a different format.

That is what you call determination! It's a shame that fewer people saw Final Space when it was on broadcast. However, it is hoped that the graphic novel would introduce the program to a completely new audience. After all, nothing beats a terrific story finale to spark readers' interest in reading the previous portions. And who knows, maybe after the book is published, interest in the program may grow.

Olan Rogers fought so hard to get the chance to finish the story shows just how much he cares about the fans. And who knows, maybe this won't be the last we see of the Final Space universe. After all, there's always the possibility of spin-offs or prequels. But for now, I'm just happy that we'll finally get to see how it all ends.

Not even a fan of the show but the story of the people behind it not giving up is inspiring because most people on their position will just abandoned the fans,

Olan Rogers' resilience and dedication to giving the fans a proper ending for Final Space is truly remarkable. It's commendable how much he cares about the viewers and is willing to put in the effort to finish the story. And with the potential for spin-offs and prequels, the Final Space universe may continue to expand beyond the finale
