The only thing they need to shake up is having the Ganglers actually do something. Right now they are the same wallpaper we had in both Kyuranger and Zyuohger. Why even bother having them in this show at all if they aren't going to do anything with them? It should have just been the villains were the Lupinrangers until they needed to get the two teams together to fight a common evil. It's the best show since Gokaiger, but absolutely nothing has happened at all in the first 25 episodes as far as a plot is concerned. I expect a stunt like this from Kobayashi.

Who's that with their hands in the air like they just don't care? Why, it's Hammy, Spada and Kotaro from Kyuranger.

Who's that standing on the steps to confront them? It's the suit actors for Lupin Red and Patren X. Also off to one side are the suit actors for Koguma Sky Blue and Lupin Yellow.

Looks like some sort of crossover is in the works.

Hmmmmmm movie or tv episode? I thought Toei was done with Winter movies of Sentai and Rider (well not certainly not).

So first up, you may have already seen 'The Other Patren #2' special made for Toei's Tokusatsu Fan Club's streaming service. This featured the original Patren #2, Satoru Shinonome, who was badly injured when the team battled a Gangler in the days before they acquired their VS Changers and had to fight untransformed. After being injured he was transferred to the Global Police's HQ in France. But the big news is that he's headed back to the Japanese branch, allowing him to make an appearance in the main series, and he's bringing his own VS Changer with him.

The next big upcoming battle is against Destra, whose body is so hard that not even the Lupin Magnum can penetrate his armour. The teams will once again team up to take him down.

Finally, we'll get some backstory for Noel. It seems the person that both he and Kogure are trying to revive is (of course!) Arsene Lupin. Apparently Lupin somehow saved Noel as a child in France, and also saved Kogure's life at some point. Lupin taught Noel about the power of the Collection and how to harness it, only for the Gangler's boss Dogranio to suddenly appear and kill Lupin before escaping with the entire Collection.

The actor who plays Lupin Red has posted the below picture to his instagram account showing all seven rangers with their flowers. It looks like filming on LuPat has wrapped.

A second teaser trailer for Lupinranger Vs Patranger VS Kyuranger.

The global police are investigating the kidnapping of the phantom thieves when the Kyurangers once again arrive from their alternate dimension. Bizarrely, the final shot shows the phantom thieves transforming into Patrangers?!

The film will have a brief theatrical showing on May 3rd before begin released onto home video on August 21st.
