2010 NBA Draft (No McMahon bullshit allowed!)

Yeah, I heard he signed on tonight. So the Lakers are now more scarier than Miami.

They add Steve Blake, Matt Barnes, Theo Ratliff. They lose Josh Powell, Jordan Farmar. Total steal.

On the other hand...About that Barnes to LA signing:

ORLANDO, Fla. — Kobe Bryant is often compared to Cleveland’s LeBron James and has a long rivalry with past animosity with Boston’s Ray Allen. But if Orlando makes it back to the NBA Finals against the Lakers, we have Orlando’s Matt Barnes now as a person of Kobe’s interest.

Bryant smiled after the game Sunday and said he enjoyed Barnes’ competitive fire, which produced double technical fouls at one point and had Barnes bordering on ejection. But Barnes also caught the eye of Bryant’s teammate, Lamar Odom, who interjected while getting dressed after the game upon hearing Ron Artest asked by reporters about Barnes.

Odom yelled out that Barnes was “a monkey,” adding: “He picked the right game to act tough.”

Later, after most reporters had left him, I asked Odom for clarification on that “monkey” comment. Odom said it referenced rapper Rick Ross calling 50 Cent “a monkey” in their rivalry.

“That’s an inside joke,” Odom said. “The rappers that are feuding with each other, Rick Ross and 50 Cent … they’re feuding with each other. That’s an inside joke with this team. Matt Barnes is a cool dude. If I call him a monkey, I don’t mean it. If I call him a superhero or a wrestling figure, I don’t mean it.

“He did what he had to do. He played a great game. He got the crowd involved. Basketball’s entertaining, as well. He did a great job for his team today.”

Odom had also kidded that Barnes should’ve played with a cape on and compared him to wrestler Ric Flair, who showed up with the public-address microphone Friday night in Charlotte with the Lakers in town, for hyping up the crowd.

Although Lamar Kardashian should have felt embarrassment for getting stuffed by the rim on a dunk attempt and watching his team lose to the Magic on Sunday, Lamar’s been doing a lot of talking. After the game, Odom mocked Matt Barnes’ defensive efforts, comparing Barnes to pro wrestler Ric Flair. Odom added onto that comment after the Lakers’ win Tuesday night, saying “That [expletive] that Matt Barnes pulled, that ain’t never going to happen again.” Barnes must have been alerted to that comment because he wrote the following response on his twitter (minor bad language):

Morning yall up early w/ the babies watchn Dora. Seems Lamar can’t keep my name out his mouth maby I need 2 put my sons shitty diaper n it

That's what we all thought when we were imagining Artest being a Laker.

Fists and chairs would fly between Kobe and Ron Ron XD

Yeah but Ron never pissed off Kobe and Lamar or attempting to make Kobe flinch with a basketball on national television.

That was funny however.

Gayest Picture Ever.

According to a tweet by Cavs beat writer Brian Windhorst of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, LeBron James is advising Chris Paul to seek a trade, but to stay in the Western Conference to keep it competitive.

Paul has two years before he becomes a free agent but has put a plan in motion to force a trade out of New Orleans for the 2010-11 season. He is rumored to be favoring Eastern Conference contenders the Magic and Knicks as future places to play. Paul, also interested in playing for the Lakers in the West, plans to meet with New Orleans executives Monday to discuss his future with the team.

This bitch ass nigg is ruining basketball.

^ Ledouche wants everyone to go to teams that can become overlord teams.

Paul is supposed to formally make his request tomorrow. Shaq wants to play for the C's, if he can swallow his pride and accept the vet's minimum and come off the bench then I will welcome him to the C's.

If Shaq joins the Celtics, I demand that he return his 3 championship rings that he won with the Lakers. A former champion Laker big man joining the Celtics is an absolute insult to the Lakers legacy.........you don't see Kareem or Mikan wearing Celtics jerseys after their tenures as a Laker.

That's just absolute blasphemy
