2010 NBA Draft (No McMahon bullshit allowed!)

Breaking News: Four Way Trade Completed.

Well the Pacers just saved their ass. I bet Granger is planning a house party as we speak. Houston...I am not sure what the hell they are doing unless they really like Budinger to play SF or they did it to save money.

So much for "Blueprint for greatness". Troy Murphy is great but he certainly is no Amare or Boozer.

I kind of like Courtney Lee on the Rockets, man Pacers have a sick PG now, congrats to them.

Hornets trade Julian Wright to Raptors for Marco Bellineli

It also looks like the Pistons might be in talks with the Thunder for a trade involving Prince.

It is being rumored by a few sources, but nothing solid. It could still be a false rumor at this point.

First off, Brain Colangelo lost his mind. Totally. There is no way, he has gotten this bad at putting together a team without some sort of foul play involved, It's mind control or something.

Second, I'm really nervous. Kristic being dealt for Prince is NOT a worth it deal. First off, we do not know how long it will take Aldrich to play to his potential and your tampering with chemistry and momentum you gained from your roster last year.

The Thunder did a GREAT job getting good players and giving up nothing to get them (Cook, Ivey, Peterson). Trading for Prince is great but, It's not worth it unless your giving up players that won't help your team.

Rod Thorn going to the Sixers is just a total slap in the face to NJ. I guess he lied about wanting to spend time with his family to get out of that embarrassment of a team, looks like Thorn had some sort of knowledge that the Nets would not even be close to getting LBJ.

That 4 Team Trade is exciting but, I'm not exactly sure if this means Thornton is going to get traded or moved to PG. He has no playing time behind Marco and the draft picks.

Wow other than the 4-way trades there is some messed up sh!t going on here. I hope the Pacers waive Posey since they don't need him and he won't get any PT there, then the Celtics should sign him for the vet's min :), then that will be the final step in helping them put away the overrated Heat team.

Posey >> Hughes

In other news, you guys probably already know this:

Those vying to fill the Knicks' general manager position are selling their ability to bring Carmelo Anthony to New York next summer.

But according to a story from Ken Berger of CBS Sports, it may no longer be necessary to convince Anthony he should join the Knicks.

"Carmelo already wants to play in New York," one person with knowledge of his plans told Berger. "He doesn't need anybody to bring him there. He's a gunslinger. That situation is perfect for him."

Berger writes that "Anthony's desire to play in New York is so strong, sources say, that those close to the three-time All-Star have scoffed at the efforts of executives touting themselves as being able to deliver him."

Chauncey Billups said Tuesday that he doesn't know which way his teammate is leaning.

"If I was a betting man? I don’t know," Billups said. "Of course, I'm biased because I'm playing on the team that he’s playing on. But I'm optimistic that he’s going to come back and play for the Nuggets. I know he loves the city. Shoot, he’s been there since he was 20 years old. So I'm optimistic, but I don’t know. I wish I did, but I don’t."

Melo to NY Please :)

Carmelo & Amare = Championship.

No it doesn't.

A Championship team is not made up of 2 players, you need a strong supporting cast. Like the Lakers, Celtics, Mavericks and Magic

They would be good together, but the Knicks need to improve some of their other players. They would need to build a better team than the Lakers...which is never going to happen

Ummm They already have that. Which is my point. The Knicks are missing ONE player which will put them in a contenders list.

They already have:

Felton - Fast as lightling. Good defender, clutch, leader as PG.

Gallo - The biggest piece of the Knicks. 6'10, with 3pt range, good handle, great upside. He could be the Hedo Turk of the 09 Magic.

Chandler - 6'8, strong, athletic, can play SG, SF, PF with a decent mid range shot.

Walker - 6'6, decent defender, can play SG or SF has good range.

A. Randolph - 6'11, long athletic, shot blocking with a PG handle. He is compared as Magic Johnson at full potential and a Lamar Odom with better range.

Azuabike - 6'5, good defender. Great range, perfect sixth man.

Turiaf - Energy, Hustle, Rebounding, Defense for a PF/C.

Mozgov - Athletic freak, 7'1 with great feet and speed. PHYSICAL AS HELL and can finish around the basket. Comparisons are Marc Gasol with a Bynum type potential.

Add that around Melo and Amare. You have a Championship team.

New York is good, but there is no way in hell they are better than the Lakers. Even with Melo they still will have to take a backseat to the Champs. You can break them down all you want, Lakers are in the favorites this season

Kobe is still the best player in the NBA. Paul Gasol and Andrew Bynum are still the most dominant forwards in the NBA. They have two elite perimeter defenders in Matt Barnes and Ron Artest. They have Derek Fisher who can play defense and make clutch shots. They still have an amazing bench, Lamar Odom, Steve Blake and the veteren Theo Ratliff. Oh yea, and they still have the best coach in NBA history.

Unless you want to add Spike Lee to the roster

Nobody said the Knicks would be winning it anytime soon. Besides, the Lakers have only 1 more title within their grasp.

Fish will retire soon, Theo is old who knows how many years he has left. Probably one.

The Lakers are not going to keep winning titles like this very long. Everyone knows it. Which is why Phil only signed a 1 year deal to return.

Same goes for Boston, right now I think they have the edge over everyone else. They have more bigs now so the Lakers no longer have a edge in height and size, a far better bench than Miami, once they add another wing that can play d then they'll be set, Boston might not get a top seed in the conference but come playoff time they'll surely be ready to make a run for the title.

Kobe, Gasol and Odom have 2 more years under contract. Bynum is slowly getting better. Fisher and Ratliff are replaceable, they are both what the Lakers need (consistency and defense), any young players would jump at the opportunity to play with an all-time great like Kobe
