2008- Enigine Sentai Go-onger- Pre Discussion Thread

Well, My first thought on the suit designs are nicely done. Kind of have that mix between Liveman, Turboranger, Carranger, and Gaoranger in that order. Not too shabby, I might say. The designs for the vehicles and the Mecha are a little blah. If you know what I mean. As for the cast and the theme music, well I've got nothing on them.

After watching the promo, i still can't get the "Engine Sentai Go-onger" tune out of my head :shakefist

My thoughts are that Saki/Go-onYellow is cute ...

They're awsome first ithought WTF!? but like i said m before it will grow on me and it did it's awsome.

I have high hopes for Enjin Sentai Go-Onger. I'm glad Toei went old school this year. The suits remind me of Liveman which is a good thing. The cast looks good. I have a good feeling Go-Onger will be just as good as Gekiranger.

Yeah, it looked terrible, could just show you can't judge a series by its motif >>

I love the jackets, not so keen on the number thing though (and names kind of spoil buying one )

Blue is plenty eyecandy anyway ^^

Despite me hating the eyes/headlights on their helmet, I'm actually looking forward to this series....

But the mechas with eyes........reminds me of some movie Disney made quite sometime ago........

On the promo, I can't see the EnjinOh clearly.

Their is alot of Carranger homage in the promo, unfortanly, not because i don't like Carranger, i just think it's to soon to homage that particular show, why not homage Denjiman or Sun Vulcan instead.

The homage i'm talking about is the arrival of the Mecha's, which looks better in action, than the figure and the short clip of the Engineoh finisher, which looks just like Carranger's mecha's finisher, the name escapes me at the moment.

The suits are the ugliest thing I've laid my eyes on in a long time, but the mecha doesn't look so bad in action. (Keyword: action. The scan from not long ago is right up there with the suits.)
Granted, I'll watch it anyway. But, ow, my eyes.
