We’ve got about two and a half weeks before Attack On Titan: The Last Attack plays in theaters, which means it’s time to show what the English dub of the movie will sound like. Crunchyroll released the English language trailer this morning. It’s not that big a reveal, though — obviously, it’s going to sound the same as the English dub of the original series finale, which this movie is a recut of. If you do want to see this, you’ll have to be quick. Attack On Titan: The Last Attack is opening globally, but will only play for one day in each region. Recutting the series finale into a film feels a bit unnecessary, especially since the English dub is already available on Funimation and Hulu. I'm hoping they've added some new scenes or extended existing ones to make it a worthwhile experience for those of us who have already seen it. The theatrical experience is always different, but I'm not sure it warrants a trip to the cinema just for a recut, unless there's some significant new content. I'll probably wait for reviews before deciding whether to see it in theaters.

Another Attack on Titan movie? Really? Weren't we promised this was "The Final Season"? Cash grab alert? Don't get me wrong, I love the series, but this feels like a cheap way to squeeze more money out of fans. I'll probably just wait for it to stream and rewatch the original series finale instead.
