I’ve been following the work of comic booker Paul Tobin and his wife Colleen Coover for years, partly because of their witty co-creation Bandette and partly because they live right here in my home town. So It’s my pleasure to be the one to announce String, a new Tobin book coming this fall from d Cave Studios. The book is illustrated by Spanish artist Carlos Olivares, with colors by Sara Colella and letters by Taylor Esposito. It's refreshing to see a Korean-American woman at the center of a comic book. Representation matters, and I'm glad to see more diverse characters being featured in mainstream media.
