100 episode Clone Wars

As did I, but my opinion may be a bit biased. I like all six of the films, changes and everything.

I liked Episode III.

I still think there's far more potential in setting things AFTER ROTJ rather than in the Old Republic. While the original KOTOR was awesome, the second one proved what people think about the force when they make games set in the Old Republic - you only get light side points when you obeyed exactly what the council said, rather than owning up to your choices and trying to do what you think is right.

But... isnt that also true for Movie-Continuity Star Wars? Anikin was labeled a bad-man for having feelings outside of the Jedi teaching. He was told not to care when Padme fell out of the aircraft carrier or whatever it was. The council and right and wrong were very much the same in the movies as they were in KOTOR. KOTOR just did a better job shedding to light these stark comparisons. The council is politics and you have to obide by their mandate at all times, it's not about right or wrong. It's about purging yourself of emotions, never loving, and making decisions with a "Sentinel" like mentality. Sometimes that can lead to making judgements that arent very humane.

Im not a Star Wars guru here, I cant get into a debate and win over the subject. I'm just stating my observation.

People really still believe SuperShadow is for real? Tisk tisk. He's as fake as they come. Everything on his site is made up, and some of his "facts" contradict official canon.

It's not so much about purging emotions as it is not letting yourself be overcome by your emotions. Love in the form of compassion is essential for a Jedi. The key is to not become attached. This is something Anakin fails to learn or achieve, and it is ultimately what leads to his downfall. Anakin grew too attached to the people that he loved, as well as his strength and lust for power.

watch as this new series lucas does retcons everything the animated Clone wars established.... George "If I didn't make it and the fans liked it, it has to go" Lucas.

I think you're absolutely right there, Grn. That's why I don't particularly like stuff set in the Old Republic, because that's what Jedi are like. :)

Still, I really hope this series is good.
