This episode really made me pause and think about Escher’s role. I know Lloyd is the main character, but Escher showed a lot of emotional depth here. Her guilt about leaving the Father really shows how much she cares, even though she doesn’t have the same magical strength as the others. I like that the series doesn’t just focus on power levels or flashy spells but also on how characters deal with failure or regret. Her tears weren’t just for Babylon; I think she was crying because she feels useless. That hits hard. Not every show gives that space for side characters to feel real emotions. I really respect how the story gives time for her to grow too.
