100 episode Clone Wars

Angry Zen Master
Lucas is self-producing 100 episodes of Clone Wars to fill in the gap between Episode II and Episode III. They'll be full 3D productions which sounds really ambitious. Once they're complete, he'll shop them around for distribution.

I really didn't like Episode I or II. III almost won me over. But the Clone Wars that aired on Cartoon Network was awesome. This could potentially kick much ass! :buttrock:

I hate movie continuity more than the devil himself. :redface2:

HATE IT!

There is SOOOOOOO much potential for the Star Wars Universe as Knights of the Old Republic demonstrated that it saddens me to no end that we're still getting stories in the Movie Continuity.

Yeah, I'm glad we're getting more Star Wars, but it angers me to no end that it's still more prequel ****.

The only things I enjoyed out of I & II were the lightsaber fights. Though, honestly, who doesn't like a good lightsaber duel? But I'm looking forward to those....I think they should be animated the way the original "Clone Wars" eps were done...not in 3-D.

If Genndy Tartakovsky isn't involved, I won't go in expecting anything particularly impressive.

He (+his dudes) were the reason the original cartoon series were so good. Of course it might still be good without him but as I say, I won't have the same high hopes I had before.

The cartoon was fantastic. It put the fights featured in Episode III to shame. This series has potential and you know, this is Lucas' story he can do with it what he wants.

Honestly, even the lightsaber fights in Ep.3 disappointed me-- half the time, they were shot so close in that most of the time, you just saw head, shoulders, and blurs of light waving across the screen.

I love the clonewars and all but really i'd like to see a film about the Mandleorian wars. :buttrock:

I know that eps 7,8 and 9 are gonna be about the 2nd clone wars.
to bad they wont be out till like 2012
