Honestly this show lost me after season three already. Season four with Hemsworth felt rushed and the writing choices were strange, so hearing it is delayed again does not shock me at all. What surprises me is that filming finished so long ago and they still cannot finish editing and effects. That tells me something is wrong behind the scenes, maybe budget problems or maybe they are trying to fix parts of the story after bad reactions. Netflix keeps doing this with big shows, hyping them up then letting them fall apart slowly. I used to recommend this show to friends but now I just tell them to skip it and read the books or play the games instead. Sad how far it dropped from season two.

The spinoffs killed the hype way before season four even released if you ask me. Blood Origin was rough and nobody really talked about it after release week. Once that happened, casual viewers already started losing interest, then the Cavill situation made things worse. Now with another delay, I think most people who were still holding on will finally give up waiting. It is unfortunate because the source material has so much potential, the games proved that clearly. Feels like mismanagement more than anything else at this point. I will still watch the ending someday, just to complete the story, but my expectations are already low. Hope they surprise me though, would be nice to end things on a better note than what we got recently.
