That's awesome! Matthew Janszen's work usually adds a lot of depth to the shows he composes for. Adventure Time has such a unique and whimsical sound, so I'm excited to see how his music will enhance Side Quests!

I've always thought music is one of the most important parts of Adventure Time, even when people don't talk about it much. The world of Ooo can switch from a dumb joke to something surprisingly emotional in a few minutes. If the music doesn't support those changes, the whole thing can feel off. I don't know much about Matthew Janszen compared to some soundtrack collectors, but his animation background makes me feel more confident. What interests me most is whether he creates a memorable theme that people instantly associate with Side Quests. A good theme can stay with fans for years. That's what I'm hoping for more than anything.

The soundtrack discussion is actually more interesting to me than the return of Finn and Jake. Characters coming back is great, but music is what creates atmosphere. Some of my favorite animated shows became memorable because of their scores. I love when a series has recurring themes that change depending on the situation. A happy melody can suddenly become sad or dramatic, and it makes the world feel connected. If Side Quests manages that, I'll be very happy. I don't need every episode to have huge action music. Sometimes the simple pieces are the ones people remember the most.
