Side quests are often the hidden gems of the Final Fantasy series, right? They can elevate the main storyline or introduce us to some really lovable characters. I mean, who can forget the deep emotional resonance of the "Wutai" side quests in FFVII? Or the surprisingly heartfelt journey of the "Auron’s backstory" in FFX?

For me, FFIX's "Tantalus" side quests really stand out! The whole gang busting moves and performing in the theatre was just a delightful twist that brought so much life to the world. And don’t even get me started on how it perfectly encapsulated the joy of camaraderie.

What about you all? Which side quests made you laugh, cry, or just feel all the feels? Did any of them genuinely impact your overall experience with the game? Let’s hear your thoughts!

The "Wutai" side quests in FFVII definitely pulled at my heartstrings! The whole conflict between Yuffie and her father really adds depth to her character. You feel that tension between her wanting to be a ninja and the burden of her family's expectations. It’s such a relatable struggle!

But I have to agree about the "Tantalus" performance in FFIX! That side quest had such a whimsical charm to it, and seeing the gang come together to put on a show was so uplifting! It’s little moments like those that really highlight the bonds between the characters.

Speaking of side quests, I'm really looking forward to hearing more about any new ones they might introduce in upcoming releases! Do you think we’ll see any fresh takes on character backstories that can rival what we’ve already experienced?
