Finally some real horror in Resident Evil again. The live-action promo is depressing as hell. That mother clutching the picture while her body's rotting away? Brutal. Shows why Elphis are scarier than any Ganado or Licker. You know there's still a piece of the person left in there, watching everything happen. No wonder the game's leaning into survival horror with actual feelings attached. Good job Capcom for not forgetting what made the old ones heavy.

Seeing the mom turn but still holding that photo of her kid... it's exactly why Elphis feel so different from regular zombies. They're not just monsters, they're people stuck screaming inside their own heads. Makes every fight in Requiem feel personal. I usually rush through enemies but now I'm gonna hesitate before pulling the trigger. Capcom really nailed the emotional side this time

Honestly, I didn’t expect the trailer to hit this hard visually. Everyone looks so polished, like they stepped straight out of a poster. Even minor characters have amazing details, and the lighting and hit sparks look way smoother than before. The soundtrack was great too—fast enough to feel intense but not overbearing. I think it really matches the pace of fights. Watching it makes me want to jump in right away and test every new character. I appreciate that Bandai Namco is trying to balance competitive needs without losing the flashy, entertaining style that Tekken is known for.

This is the kind of promo that makes me emotional even though I know it's marketing. The daughter narrating their happy life before everything went to hell, then cutting to the mom as a zombie still holding on to that memory... damn. It makes me think about all the background people in Raccoon City we never got to know. Elphis sound like they'll make me feel guilty for surviving every encounter. Already pre-ordered because of this.

Okay but is this just Capcom trying to make us cry now? The short film is well done, Maika Monroe sells the desperation perfectly. But turning ordinary people into these trapped souls is next level cruel. I like that Elphis keep bits of their old life, like the chef still chopping or the mom with the photo. It adds weight to the horror instead of just shoot everything. Still, playing against them is gonna mess with my head. Respect.

Short and simple: that ending shot ruined me. Zombie mom holding her dead daughter's picture like she still remembers. That's not just scary, that's heartbreaking. Elphis are gonna be the enemies I hate fighting the most because you can tell they're suffering. Capcom went deep with the lore this time. Hope the game delivers on that tragedy when I play.

This is peak Resident Evil vibes coming back. No over-the-top action heroes saving the day every second, just regular people getting destroyed by the virus. The contrast with Grace having a normal childhood because her mom escaped is smart too. Makes you appreciate the survivors more while the short film shows what happens to everyone else. Elphis sound terrifying in the best way. Can't wait to explore the ruins and find those cassette tapes telling more stories like this.

This is the return of the best Resident Evil feelings. There are no ostentatious action heroes saving the day every second; instead, the virus destroys ordinary people.
